To create a pop up installation for the shopping mall - APM (https://www.hkapm.com.hk/) to promote the historical and educational aspect of neon signs in Hong Kong.
The conventional image of Hong Kong is populated with neon signs, the layers of the city are built up of glowing symbols and architecture. Yet, these iconic neon signs, which have greeted the locals and tourists for the better part of the century, has deemed as illegal by the government and slated for systematic removal from the streets. Since the 1990s, the production of neon signs in Hong Kong has undergone a rapid decline.
